'Prime Minister met the Attorney General'

With his Government under fire over the alleged vetting of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) status report on Coalgate by the Union Law Minister Ashwani Kumar, the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is closely monitoring the defense the Government is going to make in the Supreme Court. Two days before the hearing, the Prime Minister met Attorney General Goolam E Vahanvati.
