Heartbreak! Ten Endangered Lions Killed in India Monsoon

This is the body of an Asiatic lion from India after her life was taken when she drowned in massive flooding brought on by India’s infamous monsoons. She is one of 10 critically endangered lions killed by the storms, 10 out of a population of only 523 remaining in the wild. At least 81 people are also confirmed killed as a result of the flooding.
