Mike Markel's Orchestra - Dawn

Although this band led by pianist Mike Markel recorded one disc in 1917 and a lot more during 1921-1928, remarkably enough hardly anything is known about this orchestra and neither did I find any picture. A few indentifiable bandmembers were Hymie Farberman and Marty Berger, trumpet; Fred Shilling, trombone; Eddie Davis, violin and Frank Gravito, banjo. The excellent vocal solo in this catchy tune is by Irving Kaufman.
