Springsteen releases acoustic version of protest song

(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: Bruce Springsteen has released an acoustic version of one of his classic hits in support of The ONE Campaign - an advocacy organization working against extreme poverty and preventable disease.<br/> <br />Springsteen released a new acoustic version of his song, "The Promised Land," from his 1978 album "Darkness on the Edge of Town." The release is part of ONE's 'agit8' - a global music campaign featuring more than 50 artists rerecording classic protest songs. Others that have taken part include Green Day, Kid Rock, and Mumford and Sons.
