Turkey To Release German-Turkish Journalist

A German-Turkish journalist who was jailed in Turkey year ago is to be released.<br />'Die Welt' correspondent Deniz Yucel was accused of spreading propaganda for the Kurdistan Workers Party.<br />The Turkish government has branded the separatist group a terrorist organization.<br />He was also accused of supporting Fethullah Gulen, who the government claims was behind an attempted coup.<br />Yucel was detained on February 14 last year and has always denied the accusations. <br />
